Bailey Clark HR Consulting, LLC (BCHR) is proud to announce that Major L. Clark, III, JD, MS, ACC, has joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer (COO) as we celebrate our 10th anniversary.

BCHR specializes in human resources management, organizational development, executive and leadership coaching, and expert witness services. Major’s appointment strengthens our executive leadership and supports our continued growth and impact. Major brings decades of senior leadership experience across the private sector, federal government, higher education, and international arenas. A nationally recognized small business advocate, his career includes service:

• Senior Advisor & Acting Deputy Director, U.S. SBA Office of Advocacy

• Executive Vice President, The Maximum Corporation ($43M technology firm)

• Chief Administrative Officer, U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Small Business.

His academic experience includes Adjunct Professor of Project Management (UMGC) and previously the Dean and Professor of Urban Planning at Morgan State University. Internationally, his work comprises building small-business partnerships with the European Union, Indigenous communities in Canada, and in Kenya. Major is the recipient of numerous national awards, including the Lifetime Advocate Achievement Award from the National Association of Small Businesses. We are honored to welcome Major to BCHR and look forward to the leadership, insight, and strategic impact he brings as we enter our next chapter.

Major Clark has received numerous awards from small-business trade organizations, federal agencies, and other entities, recognizing his significant contributions to the growth and development of small businesses, which are the economic backbone of this nation. Most recently, he received the Lifetime Advocate Achievement Award from the National Association of Small Business.

Major received his jurisprudence and Master’s degrees from the University of Iowa and his Bachelor of Arts from North Carolina A&T. He is certified by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) as an Associate Certified Coach and is a Transformational Coach certified by the Innovative Coaching Institute (ICI).
